About this Event
This session is part of a 3-part series on Oct. 16 at WUSF's Sarasota pop-up studio.
Studio Sessions, a new jazz music podcast from WUSF, brings local Florida artists and ensembles into the intimate setting of WUSF’s Studio B for short, recorded performances. In this pop-up session, WUSF’s Warren Buchholz (Jazz on Arts Axis Florida brand manager & podcast executive producer) and Scott Wachtler (Podcast Producer & Audio Editor) delve into the origins of the series, how it began as videos for musicians and how they transformed it into a podcast. They will discuss the creative process of repurposing archival recordings to craft sound-rich episodes and give tips on how you can reuse old video/audio content.
This is an in-person event and will not be livestreamed or recorded.
