About this Event
Did you know 'podcast' comes from iPod and broadcast? This session will include fun facts about the evolution of podcasting, an interactive listening component and best practices when making your own podcast. You’ll walk away being able to speak confidently about the medium and learn about the making of some of your favourite shows. You’ll also have the foundational information needed to start your own show!
No experience necessary. Copies of the presenter's published book, "" will be available for purchase after the presentation.
This program will take place in the Beeton Hall, located on the first floor of the library, just past the main staircase.
About Amanda:
Amanda Cupido is a podcast consultant, speaker, author and post-exit entrepreneur. She is the Executive Podcast Advisor at The Walrus, which acquired her podcast production company Lead Podcasting. Her books, Let’s Talk Podcasting: The Essential Guide to Doing it Right and Let’s Talk Podcasting for Kids are Amazon bestsellers and have inspired people around the world to embrace the medium for close to a decade.
