Help us grow a tiny forest with a big impact. Join us for a community planting morning as we establish a 600m² Miyawaki pocket forest on the eastern boundary of the garden.
Using a fast-growing, biodiversity-focused planting method, this project will bring shade, habitat, and native beauty to the site in record time.
Saturday 20 June & Saturday 4 July
Time: 10am–12pm
Where: Warrnambool Community Garden, corner of Grieve and Derby Street, Warrnambool.
All welcome. No experience needed. Wear something warm, comfortable and that can get muddy Free lunch provided for volunteers.
Come get your hands dirty and be part of something that will grow for generations.
This project is thanks to Greenprint Projects, Australian Plants Society Warrnambool & District with funding from a Healthy Cities Landcare Grant, a partnership between Landcare Australia and Bupa.
