PMA GAMES

We're holding our next PMA Games on Saturday, April 5th! Give your best shot at non-contact events like Demonstrations, Kicking and Punching Competitions, and the ever-popular Flag Sparring! Students are welcome to participate in as many of the events as they would like.

Drop the kids off from 10-1pm and take a few hours off or stay to watch the fun!

Students are expected to come in uniform but protective (sparring) equipment is not required for any of the events.

Info: Non-weapon, single person demonstrations. Each demonstration of moves and forms should be a maximum of 30 seconds long.

Info: Single person demonstrations of weapon moves and skills for a single weapon type. Can include nunchucks, kali stick, bo staff, kamas, sword, double nunchucks, or double bo.

Info: Flag Sparring 1-v-1. Each competitor starts with 4 flags. After a 1-minute round, the person with the most flags left wins. Competitors will be separated by age and size on two rings.

Info: Contestants have 3 tries to punch , front kick, and round kick pressure targets. Score is determined by the measured force divided by the contestant's weight.
