It’s not "game over"—it’s just a pause.
When Plus Ultra Entertainment opened the first-ever Nerd creative studio in the DMV at National Harbor, in 2024 we set out to be a third space for our community.
Together, we built an affordable, thriving home for gamers, podcasters, musicians, photographers, cosplayers and creators of all kinds.
Our vibrant space was always meant to be a pop-up, first just a month long pop up in an abandoned store front that expanded to 2 months and the we relocated to over 3,000 square feet to make our own. While our special lease was originally set to end in July 2025, we loved this community so much that we managed to stretch it out for an entire extra year! Now, the corporate owners are getting ready to sell the space, which means it’s time for us to pack up our gear and look toward the future.
We don't have our next permanent home locked in just yet, but we aren't going anywhere without a celebration.
Join us for our Closing Party! Let’s celebrate the incredible memories we’ve made, the art we’ve created, and the community we’ve built. This isn't a goodbye; it's a celebration of Chapter One and a toast to our next adventure where we will always GO BEYOND!
