Join us for the first ever BLOC clothing swap, in partnership with @allbodiesonbikesmarquette and @oredock !
Both BLOC and ABOB are committed to making the outdoors a more inclusive space for marginalized bodies, and making sure we have clothing that fits us and is comfortable is just the first step. We are working to change the systems that limit us!
Here are the details:
Clothing and gear donations are greatly appreciated - any clothing is fine (it doesn’t have to be outdoors related), with one exception: We will NOT be collecting underwear. Clean sports bras and bathing suits ARE okay. All clothing should be considered donated* - we will not be collecting any payments or offering anything on consignment. Clothing should be “plus sizes” as much as possible (this means womens 14+ and mens XL+).
The actual swap will be January 13, 2025, at Ore Dock Brewing Company. We’ll be gathering on the first floor from 4-8 pm. All items available that night will be FREE (remember, no payments will be collected by BLOC/ABOB).
We all know that feeling of heading into a clothing swap or resale shop and struggling to find items in our sizes - this is our answer to a very definite need in our community. Let’s work together to make this clothing swap a huge success!

* If you have items that you would like to SELL vs DONATE, please send us pictures and details to our IG account. We will list them in our stories, and play matchmaker between you and people interested in purchasing it. Do not bring it to Ore Dock - all items offered for sale must be done virtually. Thank you!
