Seeking Volunteers – Flexible Hours!Waikato Plunket - Christmas Gift Wrap Fundraiser
Dates: From 5th December to 24th December 2024 - choose your time slot!
Venue: Chartwell Shopping Centre
We are looking for Christmas wrappers to wrap presents at Chartwell Shopping Centre, 201 Hukanui Road, Hamilton. This is a fundraiser to support the work of our Plunket Community Services team in the wider Waikato Region.
As a volunteer you will work as part of a team stationed at a Christmas Wrapping booth within the mall and engage with the public while wrapping their purchases. Chartwell Shopping Centre will provide a supervisor to assist with support or advice.
By volunteering for this role, you will:
👶Help Whānau Āwhina Plunket to support families with babies and young children to have the best start possible in life. Plunket offers hundreds of free services in communities nationwide for parents and children under 5 years of age.
🏆Receive a certificate of appreciation from Plunket which you may like to add to your CV
😍Enjoy a fun environment and be part of a friendly team!
Requirements: Be confident in working with the public. You must be over 16 years of age to be unsupervised. Children under 16 can volunteer but they need to be accompanied by an adult.
Time commitment: Three hours per shift. We have 4 shifts available per day. If you can do more than one shift it would be wonderful.
When: Thursday 5th to Tuesday 24th of December 2024
Roster 1. 9am-12pm
Roster 2. 12pm - 3pm
Roster 3. 3pm - 6pm
Roster 4. 6pm - 9pm
