Plummer Garden Restoration Volunteer Cleanup

Join us Sunday, August 2 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for a garden clean-up on our Winter Island campus! This is the first step in restoring the Plummer Youth Promise Garden, a space where young people in foster care can grow fresh food, learn sustainable gardening, and connect with the environment.
This project holds special meaning as Salem celebrates its 400th anniversary and we are honoring our own history as well. Caroline Plummer's original vision for this campus was a farm school rooted in growth and opportunity, and this restoration honors that history while creating something new for the youth we serve today.
No gardening experience is necessary, just a willingness to help the garden grow!
