Plumbum x Bronx Frame Creative & Tech Mixer

Plumbum started with a simple realization: creativity doesn’t survive alone, creativity thrives in community.

What began as feedback-centered writing workshops in the Bronx has grown into something larger — mixers, open mics, coffee raves, and gatherings designed to create real connection across disciplines.

Writers, artists, filmmakers, engineers, product people, and anyone trying to build something meaningful tend to find each other here.

This third mixer is centered around Future Realism.

Right now a lot of the world feels myopic. Future Realism is about pushing against that. It’s the idea that if we want a better future, we actually have to start building it — culturally, creatively, and socially — in the present.

We’re hosting this one at the historic Andrew Freedman Home, a place that has carried many different cultural lives and continues to hold space for artists and community in the Bronx.

Expect DJs, artists, vendors, conversation, and a room full of people who are actively making things — books, films, ideas, companies, art, and community.

At Plumbum, the mission of the mixer is simple
bring the heart to tech, bring the impact to art.

This isn’t really a networking event. It’s a gathering for people who still believe culture is something we build together.
