As we head into the second half of the year, for the month of August, we celebrate all things purple at our Plum Moon Market!
Crafters, artisans! Readers & retailers! Come support your local small business owners in the heart of Downtown Deland.
The Plum Moon is such a beautiful time of year. We reflect on things that didn't work for us in the first half of the year leading up to the Summer Solstice and now moving towards shorter days and longer nights, we let of those things we no longer need. The color purple can be seen as a symbol of wisdom and knowledge while plums and plum blossoms symbolize patience and perseverance.
