PLL Family Kite Flight 2026
About this Event
Precious Little Ladies Inc., in partnership with East Orange City Council, Mayor Ted R. Green, the East Orange Dep. of Recreation and Cultural Affairs and the Dep. of Health and Human Services, invites you to the PLL Awareness Raising Kite Flight (PLL ARK Flight), a public safety and community bonding event that brings families together to empower and educate them on personal and public safety, and health and wellness resources.
This unique event creates an environment that motivates physical activity, encourages activism, and offers health, wellness, and safety resources.
There will be organizations with resources, tools, and education to help empower the community.
Activities for the kids!
Through this event, you and your family can identify resources in the community while getting physically active outdoors by flying kites! Pre-register for your *free premium PLL kite (one kite per person).
Knowledge is power, and this event will help you gain that knowledge in a way that is engaging and exciting! There will be a DJ, vendors, face-painting, and other fun activities!
This year we will be giving away backpacks full of school supplies for the kids, a mobile barber will be available, and our "Girl We've Got You Covered!" Beauty Bar, where you can get free cosmetics and personal care items courtesy of our partner, Thrive Causemetics, will be front and center for moms and teen attendees.
This event will be informative, exciting, empowering, memorable, and free, free, free!
Calling kite flyers of all ages!
We will have mini-kites available for small children and beginners!
ONE (1) registration form covers up to a family of FOUR (4) members.
