About this Event
A Taste of History: Food and Foodways in Plimoth and Patuxet (Ages 8-12)
From growing and harvesting to processing and preserving, food takes center stage this week! Your camper will learn the importance of foodways for the people Plimoth Colony and the Wampanoag people and the skills required to bring food from the garden to the table in the 17th century. Campers learn new skills along the way as they explore our living history sites and put everything together for a special final presentation! Pre-registration is required for Plimoth Patuxet Summer Camps. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.
