🎉We're opening our 29th year with a free day of community classes in Traditional Dance, Percussion (Bomba & Plena), Children's Coqui Dance, and Afro-Boricua Warrior Arts (Cocobalé).

Bomba Percussion (12pm) & Plena Percussion (1pm).
These classes for Adults & Teens teach traditional percussion rhythms from Puerto Rico, as well as other Boricua percussive rhythms relevant to our culture. Instruments taught include barriles, panderos, large and small percussion. Semesters culminate in high visibility performances including our June Heritage Festival and annual December musical.
