Discover what remains of Ice Age Las Vegas! This free annual outdoor event is for fossil enthusiasts of all ages. Together with our community partners, we celebrate the science behind what we know about the past and present.
The Pleistocene (Ply-sto-seen) is a name for a time, not long ago, during our last Ice Age. For over 100,000 years, herds of mammoths, camels, giant ground sloths, and saber-toothed cats roamed the Las Vegas Valley.
