Join Yamhill SWCD and the McMinnville Public Library for an evening of Plein Air Poetry at Miller Woods! This is a free event for anyone and everyone to enjoy time outdoors, write a poem or two (or ten), and share your work if you'd like.
"Plein air" is the practice of creating artwork outdoors, when your subject is right in front of you. It's more often applied to painting, but poetry is art too! Whether you're a brand new poet, a seasoned pro, or not sure you're a poet at all, this will be a good opportunity to stretch your creative wings.
Bring a pen, paper, and anything you'd need for a normal evening outside (water, bug spray, etc.). No registration required.
