Immerse yourself in nature during this hands-on, outdoor painting experience. Located in the heart of our vibrant wetlands ecosystem, this unique class brings you face-to-face with the beautiful, blooming waterlilies at Big Haynes Creek Nature Center. We'll set up your easel directly at the water's edge to capture blooming water lilies, floating pads, and shifting surface reflections. You'll learn professional plein air (outdoor) techniques from the very talented artists from The Sketching Pad, focusing on natural light, color mixing, and brushwork. All ages and skill levels are welcome! Instructors provide tailored feedback for both absolute beginners and experienced painters. Acrylic paints, brushes, and 11"x14" canvas are included in your registration:
