Join us for a plein air art and photography outing! Placer Artists Tour and Placer Land Trust are partnering for these two opportunities to create art in the outdoors.
This will be a self-guided stroll either
Big Hill Preserve, Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 3pm – 7pm
Laursen Bear River Preserve, Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 8am – 12pm.
Seek out the oak woodlands and granite outcroppings or wildflowers in sprawling meadows to sketch, paint, and photograph the beauty that catches your eye.
Your artistic interpretations from the event can be featured in the Natural Wonders show at General Gomez Arts in Auburn, July 12 – August 3! Application will be sent to participants.
This is a free event; however, donations help make these activities possible! Placer Land Trust suggests a donation of $10 per person or $25 for a family. You can donate during registration, and we’re happy to accept cash or a check at the event in an envelope with your name written on it.
