Details:
Subjects to paint include flowers and architecture. There is no charge to enter Saratoga Spa State Park if you are over 62. Youngsters under 62 must pay $10 to enter the park.
Directions to Spa State Park and Victoria Pools entrance:
From Route 50: Turn East on Avenue of the Pines and follow the signs to Victoria Pools. The parking lot will be on the left.
From Route 87: Exit 13N. Going North on Route 9, turn left at the next traffic light which will be East West Rd. Stop at the park gate and they will direct you to turn right onto North South Rd. That will bring you to the parking lot for Victoria Pools on the right.
For both; park at the East end of the parking lot. There are 6 handicap spaces. The paved walking paths lead to the entrance of Victoria Pools. That is the venue for us plein air painters. We will not be entering the pool area. Our area is the flower gardens in front of the entrance to the huge building. We will be at the pointy end of the arrow that goes from the word "Are" in the above photo.
