Playshop: Music Improv
Schedule

UTC-05:00Location
200 Malaga Street, #7, Saint Augustine, FL, United States, Florida 32084 | Augustine, FL
From the creators of an entirely new musical genre called "Natural Music" – Framily (family & friends) + Harmony-making through "true play" - making it up as you go - no mistakes - just beautiful, peaceful, harmonious music.
You owe it to yourself to become a truly whole person, by:
(1) seeing, with the help of the Magical Musical Spiraled Seashell, the Dancing Seahorses, the 7 Arrowed Dove and others, the simplicity of this system of musical harmony and, by;
(2) experiencing your own innate ability to create beautiful, relaxing music - without practicing, discomfort, having to keep the beat or read a note - on a variety of new and traditional instruments.
At the end of the class, the group will create, together, a beautiful symphonic piece entitled "An Ode to Nature."
And, you'll experience a new instant success, no fingerings chording method for any guitar, banjo, or ukulele (please see Guitar Simplified for additional information) and you'll see how easy it is to play chords in the Key of C on any keyboard. Once again, for purely creative endeavors, or if you want to sing-a-long to some of the songs you love.
Experienced musicians and music educators will find this new musical genre most enlightening as well.
Spread a little peace and harmony through your innate creative musical powers.
Your life will be forever enriched!
About the Instructors:
Facilitated by Richard Bozung (aka Frog), musical instrument designer/maker (three patents), music therapist, music teacher (Montessori), author of several books on Simplifying Music, author of two musicals on Living in Harmony with the Earth, and award winning Artist-in-Education/Residence grantee through several state and private foundation arts programs.
You'll use some of the instruments created by his long time friend and music collaborator, Richard Cooke, Grammy award winner with the Paul Winter Consort, musical instrument designer/maker and brain-child behind the largest assemblage of Outdoor Musical Play Parks in the world (including the chimes at Dr. Hayling Park in Loncolnville). Please see Freenotes Harmony Park and Richard's Ted Talk.
You will be amazed by the beauty, relaxation, and sense of community achieved through “Natural Music”, alone, with others, and with nature.
