Explore and get creative in your city’s surroundings.
This workshop encourages us to look at the city space with new eyes, and explore how to use everyday surroundings as material for performance. Participants will observe and respond to people, spaces, and atmospheres in real life settings, test how movement and action change in specific locations and create small, site-specific moments together.
Carol Hayes is founder of Assemble Theatre Collective and has created theatre in city spaces across Copenhagen including Nordhavn and Sydhavns harbour, an underground bunker in Forum, a Vesterbro shopping street, and a human meat factory in Østerbro.
Open to all who are curious about theatre, performing and play.
