This workshop will introduce you to child-centered play therapy. Child-centered play therapy is child-led and can be an incredibly powerful tool. We will dive into the theory of child-centered play therapy and the evidence behind this approach. We will learn how to use facilitative responses in sessions and the ways to practice presence with children. We will also learn ways to use child-centered play therapy with families to help strengthen connections and decrease adverse behaviors. You will walk away with tools and information you can put to use in your practice with children and families.
