About this Event
PLAYING MODELS is an international symposium that invites world-renowned researchers to explore the interplay between artificial intelligence, architecture, and storytelling. The symposiumβs unique value lies in its ability to challenge conventional design approaches while shaping future discourses in AI and architecture. This format provides a venue for exchanging ideas among researchers, practitioners, and theorists across multiple disciplines and continents with substantial experience in design, artificial intelligence, modeling, and coding. PLAYING MODELS aims to deepen international collaboration and develop an online platform that hosts code, datasets, and lectures featuring state-of-the-art AI pipelines applied in architecture. During the symposium, the invited speakers will redefine AI as more than an optimisation tool, highlighting its potential to foster creativity and conceptual innovation. By focusing on global collaboration and interdisciplinary discourse, PLAYING MODELS connects institutions such as ETH ZΓΌrich, UF, LTU, and CMU. The event has demonstrated to draw broad interest from academia and industry, with Nvidia already offering sponsorship.
