Playing for Proz: Celebrating Dr. David Proznick

This promises to be a memorable night of music as former students and colleagues of Dr. David Proznick come together to celebrate the lasting impact he has had on our local music community.
“Proz” holds a special place in the hearts of those that were lucky enough to have worked with him. He lead by example, showing us what can be accomplished when you put your heart and soul into your craft; a lesson that has served many of us well, both on and off the bandstand.
We’ve got an incredible lineup of musicians who will be performing, spanning a wide range of Proz’s tenure. The full lineup will be announced soon.
We are also using this event as an opportunity to give back to the local music community. All profits from the event are going to be used for a bursary in Proz’s name in hopes that we can further support students who embody his work ethic and dedication to community.
Please come show your love to Proz, who will be a guest of honour at the show, and help us support the next era of musicians in our local community. Hope to see you there!
Location and tickets:
The show will be held at Main Stage at the Surrey Arts Centre (13750 88 Ave, Surrey, BC).
Tickets are available NOW, but are currently restricted to those with a pre-sale code so we can give folks that know Proz personally the best chance at securing a ticket.
The pre-sale code is proz26presale. Feel free to share it with anyone who you know Proz means a lot to.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public Tuesday, June 23rd at 10AM. Note that you will need to create an account/log in with the City of Surrey’s ticketing website in order to purchase tickets. Once you are logged in, you will see the field to enter the presale code.
