Press play on summer with the return of Play the Parks, Downtown Yonge’s beloved free concert series celebrating its 14th season. Presented by TD Bank Group and curated by Canada’s Music Incubator, this weekly live music program transforms parks and public spaces across the neighbourhood into vibrant stages for local and emerging artists.
Inspired by Toronto’s identity as a World in a City and the global energy filling the city this summer, each concert location will spotlight artists and musical influences from different regions of the world. From Latin rhythms and Afro beats to Asian fusion, Caribbean grooves, and European-inspired sounds, every performance offers a unique opportunity to discover new music and cultures.
Whether you’re enjoying a lunchtime break, meeting friends after work, or exploring Downtown Yonge for the first time, Play the Parks invites you to experience free live music all summer long.
