The Houston Hockey Community is proud to present Sports Day in La Porte — a day of sports, recreation, and community fun at the newly resurfaced La Porte rink!
We’re bringing street hockey, pickleball, and roller hockey together for a fun, family-friendly day featuring lessons, drills, games, open play, local businesses, community partners, and activities for different ages and skill levels.
Event Schedule | 10 AM–6 PM
10:30 AM–12:30 PM
Street Hockey for Kids
Drills, lessons and games
1:00–3:00 PM
Pickleball
Lessons, drills and open play
3:30–5:30 PM

All activities are drop-in, so you’re welcome to come and go during the designated activity times. You do not have to attend the full two-hour period. Games and drills will be available throughout each session.
We’ll also have a bounce house, food and beverage vendors, and local businesses joining us throughout the day. Check the comments for vendor and business spotlights as we highlight the businesses and organizations participating in the event.
Come out, have some fun, and help us put this great community space to use!
Vendor Inquiries:
There are still a few vendor spots available. All vendor inquiries must be directed only to [email protected]. Please do not post vendor inquiries or solicitations in the comments of this event.
