Join us on Friday, August 7 for for Plates From Peru, the first of the Squirrel’s Special Dinner Series! These dinners will each be a curated, four-course evening built around a different cuisine, culture or story.

Price: $80 per person — four courses plus a passed appetizer (wine pairings available for an additional charge)

For our first dinner, Chef de Cuisine Olivia Jackson is honoring the Peruvian heritage of two members of her kitchen team, drawing on the Andean and Amazonian traditions that shape Peruvian cooking today.
The Menu:
Passed: Mahi Mahi ceviche, served spoon-side, paired with Peruvian pisco
Soup: Fish stock-based soup with shrimp, vegetables, rice, and queso panela
Salad: Bibb lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, carrot, parsley, lemon vinaigrette
Entrée: Local braised tri-tip steak, peas and carrots, yuca, long grain rice
Dessert: Mazamorra — traditional Peruvian rice pudding with pineapple and red-corn-infused apple, toasted coconut, long grain rice
