🌿 Discover the edible and medicinal plants of Fontainebleau🌿
Join the Interpretive Ranger for a guided walk exploring the hidden pantry and pharmacy of the forest. Along the way, you’ll learn how people once identified, used, and respected the edible and medicinal plants of this region. This program is for educational purposes only—no collecting or tasting will take place within the park.
We will begin at 10:00 at the Visitors Center with a short presentation, followed by a nature walk.
There is a $3 per person fee to enter the park. Kids 3 and under, as well as seniors 62 and over get in free!
No extra fee or registration required, although you can check-in here.
ADA: Anyone wanting to reserve the Action TrackChair can do so by going here: https://www.lastateparks.com/all-terrain-chair
No cost to reserve the chair, but there is only 1 available.
