Speaker Bio: Karl Gercens is Longwood’s East Conservatory Manager, responsible for many of the changing displays in our indoor gardens. Originally from the Mississippi Delta, Gercens has worked at Walt Disney World in Florida and Filoli Estate in California to experience horticulture from coast to coast! Gercens has worked in the conservatory field for most of his life and has visited hundreds of gardens in all 50 states.
