Join our Elders-in-Residence, Dollie and Marlyce, as they officially start the Racing Magpie Community Garden for the season.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Planting Session. We will be transplanting the seeds we started back in March into their permanent garden beds.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Community Lunch. Once the work is done, we’ll gather to share a meal.
We'll provide:
Gloves
Garden Starters (the seedlings we've been growing)
Tools (trowels, forks, and shovels)
All we ask is that you wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little dusty!
