We’re celebrating the kickoff of our all-ages Summer Reading Program, with the theme “Plant a Seed, Read”, and what better way to celebrate than with a Plant Swap! Pass along a plant that you no longer need, and bring home a new indoor or outdoor addition to your home.
DROP OFF DAYS:
Wednesday, June 24 through Friday, June 26
Drop off indoor or outdoor plants, cuttings, or seedings to the library’s 2nd floor Reference Desk. All donations should be healthy, easily transportable, and in a pot or other container. Participants will be asked to fill out a card with the name of the plant and care instructions (if known) upon drop off.
Donated plants will be available without charge during our Summer Reading Kickoff event on June 27, from 12-2 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Plant donations are not required to participate in the swap.
