Get ready for a night of rhythm, nostalgia, and unforgettable energy as Pilars Martini & Loft welcomes back the powerhouse ensemble Plant Street Pops for an extraordinary musical experience, “Dancing Through the Decades.” This thrilling show, happening on Saturday, December 28th, 2024 at 8 PM and Sunday, December 29th, 2024 at 7 PM, is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to groove through the greatest eras of music, all in one seamless performance.
Led by Grammy-winning conductor/performer Matt Catingub, Grammy-nominated drummer Steve Moretti, and featuring the dynamic guest vocalist Suzy Park, this evening will showcase the versatility and sheer talent of the Plant Street Pops. Under the masterful direction of Grammy-nominated pianist Per Danielsson, the band will take the audience on a rollercoaster of sound, starting from the swing hits of the 1940s to today’s chart-toppers.
This isn’t just a concert—it’s a full-on dance party. “Dancing Through the Decades” will have you Lindy hopping to the Big Band era, rockin’ to the hits of the '50s, groovin' to the '60s, getting your disco on in the '70s, and busting out your moonwalk for today’s favorites. The stellar lineup includes trumpeters Craig Johnson, Matt Mill, John DePaola, and Scott Dickinson; trombonists Pat Gullotta and Corey Paul; saxophonists Tamara Danielsson, Joe Eckerd, Rex Wertz, and Bruce Nardi; bassist Chuck Archard; guitarist Steve Luciano; and pianist Per Danielsson.
