Plant Pilgrim Server: A Journey Through the Celtic Wheel of the Year
About this Event
Plant Pilgrim Server is a series of men’s circles grounded in Insight Herbalism, offering space to slow down, listen, and come into deeper relationship with the living world.
Each gathering is shaped by the plants themselves, approached not just as remedies, but as living presences we can learn to listen to and perceive. Together, we explore subtle ways of sensing plant intelligence, presence, and teaching.
Insight Herbalism is a relational, embodied, and experiential approach to plant connection.
These circles offer a simple ritual container for meeting plants directly through a range of gentle practices, which may include tea tasting, quiet witnessing, shared reflection, movement, sound, and guided journeying.
Rather than seeking answers, we work with attention, curiosity, and presence. Through our questions and reflections, our lived experience with the plants can open new ways of perceiving ourselves and the more-than-human world we are part of.
The Wider Container
This circle is held within the rhythm of the Celtic Wheel of the Year, allowing the seasonal shift to quietly shape the work.
This gathering takes place on Sunday June 28th, in the days following the summer solstice, the point of greatest light in the year and a threshold within the Celtic calendar associated with fullness, vitality, and outward expression.
As the season begins its gradual turning back toward darkness, this circle offers space to reflect on what is ripening, what is being illuminated, and what asks to be tended through the height of summer.
