Of all the amazing things about plants and propagating them, one of the most unusual is the ability to graft plants together. An ancient method, grafting is actually required to reproduce many unique horticultural plants. Join horticulturist Evan Baker to learn the history behind grafting, why this method works, and how to utilize this skill in your own garden! This workshop will include a presentation and hands-on grafting of Bald Cypress (Taxodium), which attendees will take home.
All materials and tools, including grafting knives for borrowed use, are provided. Attendees are welcome to bring their own grafting knife if preferred.
