The Florida Museum is partnering with the City of Gainesville at Evergreen Cemetery & Arboretum for a special edition of Plant for Pollinators! Native trees of all shapes and sizes and native pollinator plants will be given out for free while supplies last.
🌳 Stick around after the giveaway for a planting demonstration and community tree planting event!
🌱 The Florida Museum’s Daniels Lab researchers will be delighted to chat about the importance of native plants, wildflowers and more, so bring us your questions!
🦋 Pollinators are an extremely important part of the ecosystem but you don’t have to be a researcher to help protect them. Planting native flowering plants in your yard, patio and even in pots can provide vital habitats and food for bees, butterflies, moths and other pollinators.
To get you started, the Daniels Lab team is offering a FREE native plant and the City of Gainesville is offering a FREE tree to support pollinator conservation in our community.
