About this Event
Can you barely contain your excitement when it comes to growing food in small spaces? Then we have the workshop for you! Join the Atlanta Botanical Garden and Food Well Alliance for a workshop on Container Gardening for Edible Plants! From annual vegetables to fruit trees and herbs, we'll dig into tips and tricks for thriving container gardens!
We'll cover:
- Choosing the right containers
- Selecting a soil mix
- Spacing and planting
- Feeding and fertilizing
- Long-term maintenance for perennial plants
Plant Eat Repeat workshops are always free and open to all experience levels! They're also an opportunity to check out an awesome community garden and see what's growing there!
Getting to the Garden:
Parking for the Community Garden of Jonesboro is available in the Big Oak Office Park next to the garden (118 North Ave). The garden is a short walk from the parking area on uneven terrain.
There are no restrooms at the garden, but we can direct you to options nearby.
