The Plant City MLK Festival Battle of the Drumlines will be held immediately after the MLK Parade 1:00 p.m. -2:30 p.m. Battles between Elementary, Middle and High School Bands for $6,000 in cash prizes, trophies and title as Drumline King. The competition begins at 2:30 p.m. in front of the Tampa Electric Stage. Attendees are encouraged to arrive before the parade for parking. Bands committed include Strawberry Crest, Dowdell, Marshall, Lockhart, Victory Charter, and Middleton.
