Plant & Sip: A Summer Series with Free Nature

Join us for the first evening of Plant & Sip, a monthly summer event series hosted with Free Nature at Decatur Brew Works designed to bring together nature, creativity, conversation, and community.
For our June event, participants will create their own custom desktop garden led by Shiann Currie, owner of Free Nature. Participants will select a pot, choose multiple beginner-friendly plants, mix a personalized soil blend at the interactive soil bar, and style their creation with moss, stones, wood, sand, and decorative accents.
Throughout the evening, Shiann will share plant selection tips, care techniques, design considerations, and practical knowledge to help guests feel confident caring for their new creation after the event.
The event will take place during Decatur Brew Works' Hi-Fi Low-Tech Night, where full-side vinyl albums provide the soundtrack for a slower, more intentional atmosphere centered around conversation, creativity, and being present. While Plant & Sip wraps up at 7:00 PM, Hi-Fi Low-Tech Night continues until 10:00 PM, so feel free to stick around, bring in dinner, enjoy another drink, listen to some great music, and spend the rest of the evening at Brew Works.
Whether you come with friends or arrive on your own, this experience is designed to create space for people to gather, learn something new, support local businesses, and connect with others in a relaxed and approachable setting.
Your Ticket Includes:
• Pot
• Beginner-Friendly Plants
• Interactive Soil Bar Experience
• Moss, stones, wood, sand, and decorative accessories
• Guided instruction from Free Nature
• One complimentary beverage of your choice from Decatur Brew Works (beer, select alcoholic beverage, or non-alcoholic options available)
Come create something beautiful, meet good people, and spend a summer evening surrounded by nature and community.
Presented by In Good Company in partnership with Free Nature and Decatur Brew Works.
