Thank you to everyone who showed up Thursday May 14th. There was a lot of new information presented to the planning commission regarding the issues Mesa County residents are facing with Solar and Industrial battery development in Palisade and across the county from Fruita to DeBeque. Most of the planning commissioners were not aware of these issues so another planning commission meeting is planned June 11th to incorporate proposed ideas. Please come to the next meeting and encourage the planning commission to recommend changes or to bring up new issues. The location was changed because so many people showed up for the last meeting. This meeting will be at 544 Rood Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81501. If you can't make it send an email to the county commissioners and planning department to let them know this is important.
