Planning for the future can feel overwhelming—but it does not have to happen during a crisis.
Join us for Planning Ahead Without Panic, a free lunchtime educational event designed to help older adults, caregivers, and families better understand the decisions that often come with aging.
Local professionals will provide practical guidance on:
- Recognizing when an older adult may need additional support
- In-home care, respite care, and caregiver resources
- Assisted living, memory care, and senior living options
- Medicare and long-term care insurance
- Home health, hospice, and supportive care
- Powers of attorney, advance directives, estate planning, and Medicaid planning
- Funeral preplanning, cremation and burial options, and legacy decisions
The program will feature six brief educational presentations, followed by a moderated question-and-answer session. Attendees will also have time to speak individually with the presenters, visit resource tables, and gather helpful information to take home.
