Plan-on-a-Page: Business Planning Made Simple

Planning can seem dull or redundant, particularly when you produce a document that never gets seen again.

Plan on a page is different. It synthesises the key elements of your vision and business on one page which is dynamic, easy to follow and easy to communicate. So, you still synthesise all the information you would for a business plan document, but you communicate it on one page.

To do this, Liz will assist participants to clarify:

• Their goals for the business and target customers
• The problem their business solves and existing solutions
• The solution and unique value proposition
• Channels to market and overall marketing strategy
• Pricing strategy and revenue model
• Key costs

Participants will leave the seminar with the start of a ‘plan on a page’ for their business, using the Business Model Canvas as a base.

About your Presenter:

Liz Grant has more than 35 years’ experience in helping businesses achieve significant growth. Liz is an experienced business mentor for both start-ups and scale-ups and works with larger businesses on upskilling employees. She has qualifications in business, finance, marketing, training, and coaching. Liz has worked in a range of industries including retail, communications, finance, property, logistics, training, mining, personal services, professional services, membership services and not-for-profits.

Liz has delivered seminars and business growth programs for The Geelong Chamber of Commerce, the City of Greater Geelong, Warrnambool City Council, the Shire of Corangamite and the Shire of Moyne, NAB, the Victorian State Government and the Federal Government. She has won more than $650,000 in grants and delivered major programs for both businesses and government. Liz has presented on stages with hundreds of people, and is an early adopter of AI, using it to build more sustainable businesses and organisations.
