Pizza Tasting Night @ Vitalia’s

Step into a night of Italian conviviality with Pizza by the Metre Night at Vitalia’s Restaurant, where the star of the evening is a beloved Italian tradition — pizza al metro (pizza by the metre).
This style of pizza was first created in the Sorrento Peninsula town of Vico Equense on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. There, pizzaiolo Luigi Dell’Amura — affectionately known as “Gigino” — developed a long, rectangular pizza in the 1930s as a clever way to serve large groups with a single, shareable base, topped with different flavours that could satisfy everyone at the table.
