Our group will be going on a four hour tour of Lake Farm Park, guided by naturalists. We will discover that pizza is grown on a farm! We will engage in a farm-wide hunt to investigate pizza making from field to table and uncover the sources of ingredients in this nutritious food. The horse drawn or tractor pulled wagon will be transporting us from building to building which makes strollers difficult but not impossible.There will be a set aside time for us to eat our packed lunches (no food options onsite besides snacks in gift shop).
After the program we are free to visit with the animals or play on the playgrounds for as long as we'd like.
This program will cost $8 for kids ages 2 and up, $8 for parents.
Drop-off available starting at $30, ages 5+ only, must be potty trained.
You must provide packed lunch and agree to drop off within the half hour before field trip start time and pick up within half hour of the field trip end time. Additional time negotiable.
