Get Ready for Pittsburgh Poser Fest!

Poser Fest: Uniting Pittsburgh’s Film & Music Scenes in the name of Creating and Collaborating!

Join Magic Hour Creative & Academy for Poser Fest, a day-long celebration dedicated to bridging Pittsburgh’s vibrant film and music communities. Our mission is to provide young people and emerging artists with the resources, mentorship, and creative refuge they need to turn their ideas into reality. By creating safe spaces for collaboration, we empower storytellers to find their voice and bring their visions to life.

Why We’re Coming Together:

Proceeds from Poser Fest directly support our upcoming summer program and our major film projects: our new narrative film, Babe, The Kids are Posers, and our accompanying documentary, The Magic Hour Story. Your attendance helps us provide industry-level mentorship and hands-on experience for local teens, ensuring the next generation of storytellers has the tools to succeed.

What to Expect:

Live Music: Catch high-energy performances from local teen bands throughout the day; including Lagrange Points, Dread, and more to be announced.

Special Screening: Join us for an exclusive screening of Maleena Dominick’s The Steel City Setlist Documentary Film and book.

Creative Workshops: Get hands-on with button and zine-making stations!

Student Showcase: Experience the future of cinema with a rotating selection of short films produced by our talented Magic Hour Academy students.

Community & More: Connect with local vendors, enjoy a variety of food and drinks.

Note: We are still locking in the final lineup of bands, vendors and activities, so expect more exciting announcements as we get closer to the date. Some activities we are hoping to lock in are tie-dyeing and flash tattoos (will know more soon).
