Since 2023 a social experiment on AI image generators has been running on the web. It takes your image, translates it into text, and then back into an image. Revealing all kinds of biases baked into current AI models. The platform is diffusion.cam— the first artificial social network. Over 2000 images fed through the machine. Users photographed themselves and their surrounding, Florence-2 captions what it sees, Flux regenerates from that short description. A closed loop where AI watches AI reconstruct phone photos.
The dataset leaked and will be accessible at panke.gallery.
