Pitch Your Favourite Cookbook

Is learning to cook a 2026 goal of yours? Are you unsure about where to start or which cookbook to buy? (there are so MANY!?). Or are you an expert and you have your favourites, that you would love to share with others and explain how easy it is to start?

This event is for women at all and any level of cooking/baking experience, wanting to improve and learn.

When else are you going to be able to peek into so many shelves and get good cookbook recommendations?

You can:

• Discover new cuisines, cultures and palates
• Share your love for cooking and baking
• Find cookbooks to gift your loved ones (or yourself!)
• Take photos of recipes that you would like to start off with, before committing to buying the book
• Learn tips, tricks and swaps for recipes, from women who love them
• Tick off ‘learn to cook/bake’ from your 2026 goal list

How the event will run:

1. Upon arrival, everyone will be given a cute notecard to take notes and name tags
2. You take turns going around, flicking through cookbooks that catch your attention, chat to the passionate owner/bringer of the cookbook
3. There won’t be any public speaking - just informal chats and takeaways that you can implement at home!
4. For the experts attending! There will be some placecards, where you can write down your cooking tip(s), that may not come up during the day, that you want to share with the group
