November – DINOSAURSPirrku Explorers is Storytime in the garden followed by a child-led session where families can move from activity to activity in their own time and at their own pace. Children either play alongside, talking with their carer, or perhaps discover friendships with other families. This month our stories, songs, activities and crafts DINOSAURSPirrku Explorers is a social session with a range of educational activities suitable for children approximately 2 - 7 years and their carers. Each month we explore a new theme, discover something new and make friends playing along the way. Pirrku Explorers takes place on the first Friday of each month.The Kaurna word for story is pirrku and Pirrku Garden is the name of the garden area we are establishing at the rear of the Evanston Gardens Library. This program takes place (weather depending) outside in the Pirrku Garden. The area has dappled shade so we recommend hats and sunscreen. If the weather is not suitable we will relocate inside the library.
