Pippa Callanan is passionate about Philippe Karl and Nuno Oliveira’s understanding of French classical equitation. This means that her approach has a deep respect for the nature of the horse, with methods based on clear principles, and unwavering ethics. Her teaching style aims to promote autonomous, thoughtful riders who have a deeper sense of trust and connection with their horses, no matter what breed, level or background. For her, the essence is to become a student of the horse, which means to strive to understand the causes of any difficulty by listening and taking seriously the word of the horse. This demands a humility, sensitivity and discipline that becomes a way of life.
Clinic includes lecture, lessons, and lunch.
Lessons are $175 each.
Auditing $50 a day.
Haul-in fee $25 for one day or $30 for two days.
Saturday and Sunday will include a morning lecture, lunch, and lesson.
Monday is a lesson-day only.
All disciplines are welcome.
