Youth aged 13-18 with some keyboard experience are invited to this multi-day introduction to the pipe organ, organized by the Piedmont NC Chapter of the American Guild of Organists! Throughout the week, participants receive group and individual instruction, take field trips to hear and play notable instruments, and enjoy recitals by accomplished performers. The Winston-Salem POE will be held at the same time as a UNCSA Pipe Organ Intensive (POI) for slightly more advanced organ students. Students in each program will be together for some concerts and Organ Literature classes but will experience different lesson tracks, improvisation coursework, and more.
