Pint's For a Purpose for Henry / Fundraiser

Nordic Taphouse in collaboration with Mayor Lloyd Hilgart of Monticello Mn are at it again with another fundraiser!
This time we are showing up for Henry and his family from Annandale in these difficult times!
ALL DAY SUNDAY Nov 15th, Nordic will be doing pints for a purpose featuring Lloyd Hilgart as a guest beer tender, $1 from every glass of draft beer purchased will be donated to the family and Zach (owner of Nordic) & Mayor Lloyd Hilgart will be matching that total number!
We will also be here collecting donations from those within the community that would like to show support for Henry.
FROM THE FAMILY:
Henry our son, was born 10 years ago with congenital heart disease. When he was a baby he had open heart surgery that was unsuccessful and then went on to have a heart transplant at just 5 months old. He did great for 9 years, but then in August of this year he was diagnosed with CAV, which is basically coronary artery disease in a transplanted patient. Essentially your own body attacks the vessels that supply blood to your heart. There is no cure for CAV, so we started the process to relist for a second heart transplant.
Henry started to rapidly decline from September to October, and I was getting really worried about him. We had our first transplant assessment scheduled for October 8th, but something in my gut said we can’t wait until the 8th. So on Monday, October 5th I brought him to the hospital and he was admitted straight to the ICU. By Thursday the 8th, he was placed on ECMO life support. What has transpired in these last few weeks is something I never imagined happening to Henry while we waited. We are currently battling ongoing bleeding and infection issues, which is hindering Henry’s ability to heal. Please join us on the battlefield as we hope, pray and believe that Henry’s body will sustain him until his most precious gift arrives.
