Putting this one early to give people time to prepare gear and fitness.MEETING POINT
Kauaeranga Valley Road End Carpark. This is where the track starts.
WALK DESCRIPTION
A reasonable level of fitness is going to be required for this one. But you have plenty of time to prepare. There are plenty of stairs and a lot of uphill. But well worth the effort. The hut is locked till 2pm. So have allowed plenty of time to make our way up. To take photos and rest stops. Once at the hut we will break and set up. Leave packs and do the climb up to the Pinnacles. This is where the fun begins. Heaps of stairs, a ladder and a steep rung climb to the top. About another 45 minutes from the hut to the top. Up to hikers on the day whether want to or not. This hut does book right out. So book as soon as you can so you don't miss this epic adventure. Link to book below.
